EIA projects 82.7 GW of new renewable and storage capacity, while fossil fuel and nuclear capacity falls
The US Energy Information Administration projects that renewables and battery storage will add about 82.7 GW of generating capacity in the next 12 months, while total fossil fuel and nuclear capacity is expected to decline by more than 1.4 GW.
