Tesla selected as lead supplier for initial 2,500-truck electric fleet order in the US
Tesla has been chosen as the primary supplier for an initial order of 2,500 battery-electric Class 8 trucks in the United States. The deal, organised by the ZET SCALE coalition, is intended to pool freight demand and lower procurement costs for large-scale electric truck deployment.
