Toyota launches new-generation Sora fuel cell route bus
Toyota says it has launched a new-generation Sora fuel cell route bus with a stated range of more than 300 km. The model uses a bus platform jointly developed with Isuzu, which may broaden the vehicle’s route-bus application.
Toyota Motor Corporation announced the launch of the new-generation Sora fuel cell route bus on 5 October 2026.
According to the source, the bus has a stated range of more than 300 km.
The new Sora combines Isuzu’s battery-electric full-flat route bus platform with Toyota’s fuel cell system.
