EST-Floattech to supply battery system for hybrid CSOV
EST-Floattech will provide an Octopus High Energy battery system for a new Commissioning Service Operation Vessel. The vessel’s hybrid power plant is being integrated by Siemens Energy, and the ship is under construction at Marco Polo Marine’s shipyard in Batam, Indonesia.
Siemens Energy has contracted EST-Floattech to supply the battery system for a new Commissioning Service Operation Vessel, or CSOV.
The vessel, called CSOV Plus, is being built by Marco Polo Marine at its shipyard in Batam, Indonesia. Siemens Energy is acting as system integrator for the vessel’s hybrid power plant.
EST-Floattech will deliver a package of Octopus HE modules. The source does not provide the battery capacity.
