ACC announces five-millionth battery cell production in France
Automotive Cells Company said its French factory has produced its five-millionth battery cell. The milestone highlights output at the site, while the plant’s second production block is scheduled to start in 2027.
Automotive Cells Company (ACC) said it has produced its five-millionth battery cell at its factory in France. The company described the cell as “Made in France.”
ACC is a battery joint venture between Stellantis, Mercedes and TotalEnergies. The announcement marks a production milestone for the plant.
ACC also said the factory’s second production block, with a capacity of 12.9 GWh, is set to begin production in 2027.
