Egala has received and put into service 175 new Mercedes-Benz trucks for its European fleet. The order includes 20 fully electric eActros 600 trucks, marking the company’s first concrete step into battery-electric transport.
Egala has ordered and received 175 new Mercedes-Benz trucks as part of an expansion of its European fleet. The vehicles include 155 Actros 1845 LS tractors and 20 fully electric eActros 600 trucks.
According to Daimler Truck Netherlands, all of the vehicles have now been delivered and put into use. The company says the investment supports its growth strategy, with a focus on availability, total cost of ownership and support across Europe.
The trucks were registered in June and comply with VECTO class 3. Egala said the choice of Mercedes-Benz was based on vehicle performance, operating costs and access to a European service network.
