Rivian has started delivering the first major hardware update to its electric van since production began in 2021. The company said in its Q3 2026 shareholder presentation that deliveries of the new variants began in early October.
The update includes a larger LFP battery pack, which Rivian says provides about 30% more range, and a new dual-motor all-wheel-drive version.
The van had previously been rated at about 160 miles of range for years, making this the first significant spec increase since launch.
