ZF Aftermarket has introduced four new kits in its E-Mobility Repair Kit family for hybrid and battery-electric drivetrains. The kits cover electric motors, inverters, transmission mechatronics and electric drive unit reducers.
According to the company, each kit bundles the parts needed for a defined repair. The aim is to allow an independent workshop to fix a failed component rather than replace the whole assembly.
The announcement does not give pricing or a rollout schedule. It also does not say which markets the kits are initially available in.
