Rio de Janeiro procures 175 battery-electric buses and a charging depot
Rio de Janeiro is investing about US$98 million in 175 battery-electric buses and a new charging depot. The buses are scheduled to enter service in the second half of 2027 and will fully electrify operations at Terminal Gentileza.
