Rinko Bus, Toshiba and Drive Electro launch electric bus trial in Kawasaki
Rinko Bus, Toshiba and Drive Electro Technology have started a demonstration project in Kawasaki, Japan, using a retrofitted electric bus with pantograph charging. The trial matters because the vehicle is expected to recharge in about 10 minutes and enter passenger service on local routes around December 2026.
