Ljubljana adds 35 Mercedes electric buses to LPP fleet
Ljubljana’s municipal operator LPP has added 35 Mercedes electric buses over the past year, combining battery-electric and fuel-cell models. The purchase expands the city’s zero-emission-capable public transport fleet and shows a mixed approach to electrification.
Ljubljana’s municipal transport operator, Ljubljanski Potniški Promet (LPP), has added 35 new Mercedes electric buses to its fleet within a year, according to the source.
The order includes 25 battery-electric eCitaro buses and ten eCitaro G Fuel Cell buses. The buses combine battery and hydrogen technologies.
The move is part of the Slovenian capital’s public transport transformation, with LPP relying on both technologies for fleet renewal.
