BYD reports over 300,000 battery-electric vehicle sales in October 2026
BYD said it sold more than 300,000 pure electric vehicles in a single month for the first time in October 2026. The result highlights continued growth in the company’s electric vehicle deliveries and comes alongside total global deliveries of more than 490,000 vehicles.
BYD said it sold over 300,000 pure electric vehicles in October 2026 for the first time. The company described this as a monthly record for its battery-electric vehicle sales.
Globally, BYD delivered more than 490,000 vehicles in the same month, including plug-in hybrids. The company said this was around eleven per cent higher than in October 2025.
